7 biblical lenses
We’ve developed seven biblical lenses to help you see and savor the living word of God by understanding more clearly the written word of God.
When you are reading your bible, it helps to distinguish between events that are past versus events that are still future. But remember, the incarnational focus of these lenses is less about charting the events and more about knowing the Author.
Traditional approaches to understanding the works of the Messiah divide the Scriptures into four “scenes.” Within this framework, the Redemption scene includes the Messiah’s first and second coming.

But where does that leave us today?
Traditional approaches to redemption collapse the first and second coming. Thus, when you read your Bible it can sometimes be difficult to decide whether you are reading about past events associated with the Cross—Jesus’ first coming, or future events associated with the Crown—Jesus’ return to rule and reign on earth (as it currently is in heaven).

This future hope of Yeshua’s return can be an anchor to your soul (Hebrews 6:19) in navigating stress, enduring suffering, and responding to Jesus who speaks, “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).
God’s incarnation in Jesus was so you could incarnate God’s love to others by pursuing RELATIONAL DEPTH —with God and others—for KINGDOM BREADTH!
